I’m happy to welcome you to the pages of my latest post. I’d like to share with you, through photographs, some of my upcoming plans. Namely... in the near future, I’m planning to open a small boutique featuring clothing and shoes for 11" porcelain dolls made from Dianna Effner molds.

As many of you already know—and for those who are just joining—I create and paint porcelain dolls made from Dianna Effner molds… although not exclusively hers, I do tend to favor her designs. The specific names of these molds used in my dolls can be viewed here. And by the way, you can also purchase kits of ready-made porcelain parts to create your own doll from Dianna Effner molds—exactly how you envision her and made with your own hands. You can choose them here.

Right now, I’m working on some lovely collaborations with talented artists who knit, sew clothes, and make shoes especially for these 11" dolls, and so I’m planning to open an Etsy shop soon where all of these handmade pieces will be available.

Some of these outfits you may have already seen on my dolls, but here you’ll be able to take a closer look at the costumes. All the dolls shown in the photos were created by me personally.

I create all my dolls entirely by myself, starting from what I like to call the “seed”—that is, from Ultra Chic porcelain slip, which I also make myself. From pouring and cleaning, to high-temperature firing, painting the face using special heat-set paints, then assembling the doll—and finally, choosing the right wardrobe.
